They may not be as well-known as its vibrant club and beach club scene, but rest assured, you can choose from a wide variety of music festivals in Ibiza between the months of April and October. From rock, flamenco, soul, jazz,  indie, salsa, world music… you’re sure to find the one that gets you in your best  mood! Take note of the events arriving with the summer of 2025 and enjoy the most festival-like side of the White Island.

Some are held in iconic historic locations such as the bastion of Santa Llucia in Dalt Vila, while others take place by the sea with views of the sunset over the Bay of Portmany. Some are completely free and open to the public, while others split their programming between paid events and open access. The festivals in Ibiza cater to different formats and audiences, ranging from single-day events to multi-day experiences with line-ups that feature both international and national artists.

Rock Island Festival Ibiza

 

Rock Island Festival

This free music event, one of the most anticipated of the Ibizan spring, will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, 5th April, at the outdoor venue of the Caló de s’Oli auditorium, located in the Portmany bay just a stone’s throw from the Amàre Beach Hotel Ibiza. The sixth edition of the Rock Island Festival keeps American-style rock as the main feature, although this time it incorporates hints of folk and country.

La Verbenita Club

Ibiza’s Vara de Rey Square hosts this free music event inspired by the street vibe and popular character of local festivals. The scheduled DJ sessions are infused with urban, flamenco, and Latin influences, blending both genres and eras. A fun and laid-back event that returns in mid-October.

Sol Post a s’Oli Fest

The summer season brings back to the Caló de s’Oli auditorium this periodic event that takes place every Saturday of the season at sunset. International Music Summit (IMS)

This annual gathering  that brings together professionals from the electronic music industry includes the so-called Grand Finale in its programme—a seven-hour outdoor party that in 2025 will take place on 25th April at the Santa Llucia bastion in Dalt Vila. The line-up for this ticketed music event will feature performances by Paco Osuna, Pete Tong, Bradley Zero, Deer Jade, Girls Don’t Sync, HUGEL, KOROLOVA, Luxi Villar, and Major League DJz.

Held on Sundays from mid-July to mid-August, the Festival Nits Amples d’Estiu offers free open-air concerts next to the Church of San Antonio Abad, an excellent example of a fortified church in Ibiza. World music, blues, jazz, and flamenco are some of the genres regularly included in its programme.

Radio 1 Dance Weekend

For years, the first weekend of August has been marked by the sounds of BBC Radio 1 Dance in Sant Antoni, thanks to this electronic music event that brings the latest in the international electronic music scene to the island. Its main event is ticketed and will take place over 8 hours on 1st August at club 528, featuring an extensive lineup of DJs.

This music festival is one of the most established on the island, making it an essential date in Ibiza’s cultural calendar. It takes place around the first weekend of September over four or five days, featuring both free and ticketed concerts in the La Marina district of Ibiza and the Santa Llucía bastion in Dalt Vila. Its programme features performances by local, national, and international artists, including leading figures from the jazz scene.

Festivals to Bid Farewell to Summer 2025 in Ibiza

From late September and throughout October, various one-day music events are held, associated with the end of the tourist season or local patron saint festivals. These events are free of charge and usually feature live concerts by local bands and artists.
