Live session at Amàre Ibiza’s Belvue rooftop bar

In summer 2021, D-FORMATION played a dedicated DJ sunset set from Belvue Rooftop Bar at Amàre Beach Hotel Ibiza (see full video above). Amàre DJ Sun_Sets showcases livestreams from the White Island.

D-FORMATION is Dimas Carbajo, a DJ producer who produced, among many others, the first Spanish record label of underground electronic music in 1997. With over 25 years of experience, both in worldwide booths and music studios, Dimas is one of the most respected electronic music artists across the globe.

When he was only 23 years, one of his greatest projects came about and that was founding his first record label, MD RECORDS, which revolutionized the then electronic music market and positioned itself as the best Spanish label with the best electronic music for many years.

His rise as a DJ and producer continues to be unstoppable, securing the recognition of the great majority of the underground industry from Tech and Progressive House to Trance itself. All that was thanks to the melodic tinges, intrinsic and inherent to his tracks, which delighted and made wonders with artists such as Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo or Deep Dish, which also enabled him to work for important record labels like Sony Music, Virgin Records, EMI, Beatfreak, Tusom, Toolroom, Yoshitoshi, Frequenza, Nervous, Twisted, CR2, Stereo Productions, Monique Musique or Baroque.

It is noteworthy his #39 position in the Top 100 DJs of the prestigious DJMAG magazine, the highest ranking that a Spanish DJ has ever achieved. In 2014 Beatport included D-FORMATION as one of the most important artists of the decade, along with great names such as Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Sasha, John Digweed, Nathan Fake, Guy Gerber or Dave Seaman.
